It’s hard to find this level of luxury!

Since my partner was in lockdown in Shanghai over his bday, I decided to surprise him with a stay at Beijing’s Waldorf Astoria Hutong Courtyard. It certainly wasn’t cheap, but the suite, the service, the amenities and the food were alllll worth it! Everything was luxurious from the afternoon tea to the steak dinner I arranged to be served in our room. The Waldorf spa was definitely worth the trip as well. I booked us both 90-minute aromatherapy massages. We get massages often so it says a lot when we both claim they were the best we’d ever had! Breakfast for two was included in the room rate so we had room service in the morning too - it was way too much food but it was all fantastic.
