Dharma Drum Mountain has a Nongchan Temple in Beitou, which provides free parking and can be reached by taking the MRT Tamsui Line. The Shuiyue Temple was designed by the famous architect Yao Yuanxi. The concept was derived from the words of Master Shengyan: flowers in the sky, the moon in the water. The long pool in front of the main hall reflects the main hall building in the water. Behind the main hall, the Diamond Sutra is hollowed out and engraved on the wall. Friends who want to soothe their distracting thoughts can attend the evening class at 4:30 p.m., where they can sing scriptures together for 25 minutes to the echoing drum sounds. The solemn and grand atmosphere is great.
