#0yentripFebruary2025 The second country on my European trip was Lisbon, Portugal. I arrived in the afternoon and took a taxi to the Tower of Belem. It said it was open until 5:30 p.m., and I arrived at 4:30 p.m., but admission had already closed. I had purchased a ticket in advance, but I was refused admission because it can be used twice within a year. The weather was good, and I was impressed just by looking at it from the outside, but I still wanted to go inside. On the second day, I took a train to Sintra and visited Pena Palace and the ruins of the Moorish Castle. It is a little far from the station, so it is better to take a taxi. I was impressed by the magnificent view.
