This time I would like to recommend our accommodation choice for the third night - Terrace Midoubaru Beppu Onsen, which is recommended in Beppu Onsen. Terrace Midohara Ryokan is located on a quiet hill, and you can enjoy the charming view of Beppu Bay from the room. With the popular semi-open-air hot spring and exquisite dining, you can enjoy a luxurious hot spring accommodation and two meals experience for only HKD1,400 per person. Terrace Midohara is a stylish hotel surrounded by nature. As the hotel is located in the mountains, it is a little hidden, but as long as you use MAPCODE navigation, and the hotel has staff at the entrance to guide us, I believe you can easily find your destination. In addition, each room has its own dedicated parking space, so there is no need to worry about parking issues. ✨Check in and Yukata✨ After arriving at the hotel, we first checked in at the lobby. What comes into view is a spacious and bright floor-to-ceiling glass window, which makes people immediately feel the broad vision and the comfortable mood. From the window you can see the Beppu Bay and Beppu streets, with steam rising from the hot springs in the distance, creating a scene that is like a poem or painting. Guests can freely access the terrace and enjoy the charming sunrise and sunset. The check-in process was very smooth. The staff also played the hotel's promotional video for us and then issued us the room card. Free Japanese Yukata robes are provided for guests to use. Women have a wide range of styles to choose from, with a wide variety of colors and patterns, while men only have a single style to choose from. We picked the right size for comfortable lounge wear. ✨Elegant and comfortable sea view room✨ We stayed in a room on the second floor. Passing through the Japanese-style wooden entrance, you will see a spacious floor-to-ceiling glass window with an elegant carpet in front of it. The simple and elegant Japanese modern design creates a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. What satisfied us most was the huge terrace! From the terrace, you can enjoy the charming view of Beppu Bay, feel the breeze on your face, and be completely immersed in it, forgetting the passage of time. The weather was fine and we sat on the wooden terrace, enjoying coffee and appreciating the beautiful scenery of Beppu. It was so pleasant. The guest rooms are equipped with a natural hot spring bath, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window while soaking in the hot spring. The room is fully equipped and the bathroom is equipped with lotion, emulsion and cleansing oil. The mini bar is equipped with coffee and tea making equipment, which is easy to operate and free of charge. In addition to the bathrooms in the guest rooms, the Terrace Mido also has a large public bath. The famous hot spring water from Beppu is introduced here, and the space is spacious and comfortable. However, we prefer the privacy of our bathroom so we did not use the public bath. ✨Dinner—Japanese Kaiseki Cuisine✨ A Japanese kaiseki meal was arranged for dinner. We had already made a dinner reservation when we checked in at 5:45, and there were three time slots to choose from. According to the staff's recommendation, we chose the middle time so that we could slowly enjoy this top-notch Japanese cuisine. The dishes are carefully prepared by experienced chefs, and the ingredients are all selected from seasonal specialties of Oita Prefecture. The staff who served us were able to communicate in English and gave a brief introduction to each dish before serving, making the entire dining experience more pleasant. My personal favorite is the Beppu seafood sashimi, which is very fresh and delicious, with at least 6 different types on the platter. In addition, the chef's soba soup has a rich and mellow texture that is unforgettable. The wagyu shabu shabu was also very satisfying. The restaurant thoughtfully arranged for us to sit by the window, so we could enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, and the partition design also created a private space. ✨Japanese breakfast✨ The Japanese breakfast on the second day was equally sumptuous, mainly consisting of vegetables and fresh seafood, fully implementing Japanese food culture.
