My favorite part was the breakfast on the basement floor. It's served in a simple style, but it's really nice to be able to eat while looking at the snowy scenery, and since it's served in a Japanese home-cooked style, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast. There's the Shirasu Falls right in front of the hotel, so it was great for enjoying a trip to Biei. There's also an outdoor open-air bath + indoor hot spring, so make sure to enjoy the hot spring while getting snowed in in the winter!
