Blankenberg's famous seafood restaurant

#GetDiscountWithoutLuck Oesterput is a famous old seafood restaurant owned by the Devriendt family, which has been passed down from generation to generation, up until now, it is the 5th generation. The name of the restaurant means Oyster's pot, which is probably because the restaurant started to gain popularity for its quality oysters with a nursery in the middle of the restaurant. But it is also famous for other seafood such as lobster, shrimp, fish, and mussels, which are popular foods in Belgium. For this meal, I ordered the following dishes: ➡️ Vissoep met rouille It is a fish soup served in a whole pot with a separate rouille for you to add yourself. The soup is smooth and thick. The taste and smell are similar to lobster bisque, but with fish and other seafood. Delicious. ➡️ Gegrilde gamba's Note that fresh shrimp is hard to find in Belgium because most restaurants usually use frozen shrimp. When I came to a restaurant that focuses on seafood like this, I had the opportunity to order grilled shrimp to satisfy my craving. Of course, they used fresh shrimp with soft, bouncy meat. They are large sea shrimp grilled to a fragrant aroma. Served with salad No need to cook much, it's already delicious. ➡️ Mosselen "Piet" A large pot of baked mussels cooked with the restaurant's special sauce that is published in the restaurant's cookbook. The sauce is really delicious. It's creamy but flavorful and not too rich. You can choose a side dish, whether it's French fries or bread. The restaurant's mussels are black mussels, which are quite large and plump compared to the ones in big cities. #TravelBelgium #TravelEurope
