Lake Bled – A Piece of Paradise in Slovenia

#springitinerary Lake Bled is pure magic. Just 6km around, it’s a glorious walk in the sunshine, with every angle offering postcard-perfect views of turquoise water, lush forest, and the Julian Alps. The highlight? A traditional wooden boat ride to the tiny island with its 17th-century church — peaceful, historic, and utterly romantic. In my eyes, it’s even more spectacular than Lake Como. Less crowded, more serene, and every bit as beautiful. A true hidden gem and a must-visit when in Ljubljana or nearby.
