Yueshan Temple

On the auspicious day of the first day of the seventh lunar month, it is suitable to go to Jiaozuo Yueshan Temple for a spiritual blessing ceremony.📍 Driving there takes only about 40 minutes, and you can reach this tranquil holy land. The scenic area has a convenient parking lot🅿️, and each car only needs to pay a parking fee of ¥10. The ticket price is affordable, only ¥25, allowing you to easily step into this space full of Zen. Entering Yueshan Temple, although it is not large in scale, a leisurely walk around for about 40 minutes allows you to fully appreciate its unique charm. This visit is my first real entry into Yueshan Temple. In the past, I only had a fleeting glance. Unexpectedly, the temple is lush and pleasant, and it is known as one of the four major Buddhist temples in the Central Plains region along with Xiangguo Temple in Kaifeng, White Horse Temple in Luoyang, and Shaolin Temple in Songshan. It has a long history and a great reputation. There is only a winding path up the mountain, and devotees hold incense sticks and proceed devoutly. At the foot of the mountain, there are vendors selling incense. The shopkeepers are kind and not only give away lighters but also carefully add oil to the incense to help ignite it. Of course, you can also bring your own incense for a more personalized blessing experience. Inside Yueshan Temple, it is peaceful and serene, allowing one's mind to settle. On the way down the mountain, I had the fortune to taste the famous Jiang noodles of the Bo'ai area. Its unique flavor is unforgettable, and I highly recommend it. Here, I also warmly remind all visitors to bring their own lighters, as the wind on the mountain occasionally extinguishes the flame, and specific areas within the temple do not provide incense lighting services. Today is the first day of the lunar month, a perfect time for blessing and wishing.
