Mt Coot-tha Adventures – Hike + View + Chill

My favourite way to spend a weekend in Brisbane is heading up to Mt Coot-tha. I start early and hike one of the scenic trails — usually the Summit Track or JC Slaughter Falls. It’s peaceful, green, and full of native birds. Once I reach the Mt Coot-tha Lookout, the view over the city skyline and out to Moreton Bay is breathtaking. I’ll grab a drink or bite from the café there before heading back down. Sometimes I stop at the Botanic Gardens nearby too. It’s all so close to the city, but it feels like a proper nature escape.
