❤️Recommendation reason: Belgium is one of the Schengen countries, not far from the UK, France, the Netherlands, and Germany, making it the perfect choice for international students' long weekends. 🚉Transportation guide: Round trip on Eurostar, London St. Pancras - Brussels Midi. BTW, London St. Pancras is the most charming train station in the world, without a doubt. Whether it's the Baroque-style ceiling, the 6-meter-high sculpture of lovers kissing, or the occasional piano music that stops passersby, all of them make your journey's starting/ending point full of happiness 💖. 🛏️[Hotel Guide] The homestay I found on Airbnb was hosted by a lawyer who generously gave me their spacious room. I honestly couldn't find the address, but my friends, make good use of Airbnb, there are so many interesting hosts out there! 🍽️Food and beverage recommendations: Brussels cuisine features white wine mussels (jokingly, Brussels is called Brussels because it's best for mussels [laughing]), waffles, nut chocolate, Belgian beer (Delirium cafe next to Grand Place is worth a try), and the super famous French fries. I walked tirelessly just to have a taste of the fries... The city is relatively small, so it is enough to walk around in one day.
