It was built in the 11th century and was basically completed in the 17th century. It was once a trading market and a place for celebrations. In 1695, it was bombed by the French army and was almost destroyed, but it was later rebuilt and restored, retaining its medieval charm. The look and atmosphere. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1998. The scenery of the Grand Place in Brussels is spectacular and charming. First we went to the City Hall. It is the tallest building in the square, 96 meters high. It has a Gothic tower. On the top of the tower is a gilded statue of Saint Michael, who is the founder of Brussels. Patronus.
