The hotel is located at the intersection of Victory Avenue and Elizabeth Street, surrounded by museums, art galleries, the Athenaeum and the opera house. | History The hotel opened in 1873 as Herdan and was renamed Grand Hotel du Boulevard in 1877. It was the first hotel in the area to be equipped with electric lights and elevators and was recognized as a national historical and cultural heritage by the Romanian Ministry of Culture. |Design| The hotel was built in the 19th century in the style of the Belle Époque; The GA Group is the main author, continuing the prosperity and elegance of that era, presenting the ultimate pursuit of luxury and decorative arts at that time, and cleverly integrating contemporary art and fashion. Rooms The hotel has only 30 suites (31- 116 m²). Guests can enjoy stunning views of Regina Elizabeth Street or Alexander Berdiman Street through the windows, while the top suites have a view of Victory Avenue in the distance. The spacious rooms have a smooth layout, presenting an extremely elegant and stylish living experience. The design is inspired by Mihaly Eminescu's classic poem "The Blue Flower", and is embellished with hand-painted gold foil paintings, dark blue velvet and gold, creating a poetic and luxurious atmosphere.
