Budapest musts

Budapest is a beautiful place to visit and of course there are tons of things recommended to do. Here’s just a few of my favourite things I did. 1. Fisherman’s Bastion. I took the bus from my hotel over to the Buda castle area. It was raining and I left at 7:30am (fortunately it was quiet). This is a lovely area to take photos around. Definitely get there early and start at the Fisherman’s Bastion side to avoid crowds. 2. Liberty Bridge. Now the Chain bridge is the recommended attraction but currently it’s closed for renovations to the public so just further down the river you can find the Liberty bridge. It’s green metal structure definitely makes it stand out. 3. Citadel. Another place currently closed for renovations. You can still take the walk up to the top (as close as you can) and enjoy the view of Budapest from there. 4. St. Stephens Basilica. Wander the local streets and spot the basilica amongst the crowds. Enjoy a stroll around and try the pretty floral ice creams.
