And among them, Szechenyi Thermal Bath stands out as Europe's largest, built all the way back in 1913! The mineral-rich thermal waters, packed with sulfates, calcium, and magnesium, are renowned for their therapeutic benefits for conditions like arthritis and muscle pain. Before my visit, I asked some local Hungarian friends for recommendations, and they all pointed to Szechenyi as a place even locals frequently visit to relax and unwind. We spent half a day there and managed to experience most of the pools—it was fantastic! Architecture & History: A Royal Rejuvenation 🏛️💧 Designed by architect Győző Czigler, the bathhouse boasts a stunning Neo-Baroque style.
