Strolling in Buenos Aires

After finishing the trip to the three islands of Antarctica, I took a domestic flight back to Buenos Aires this morning. Having experienced endless queues at AEP airport last time, I arrived at the airport three hours early this time. During check-in, I specifically chose a window seat on the left side at the back of the plane so I could enjoy the view of the Andes Mountains and the beautiful town of Ushuaia after takeoff. The three-and-a-half-hour flight passed quickly, and the plane landed at AEP around 2:30 PM. Every time I take an Argentine airline flight, the passengers always applaud enthusiastically after landing, showcasing the passion and liveliness of South American people, a scene you would never encounter on Asian routes. Taking a bus from AEP airport to the city center is now a piece of cake for me. When I checked in at the hotel, I was surprised that the owner still remembered me. After putting away my luggage and freshening up a bit, I headed out in short sleeves and shorts to the Pacific Gallery Shopping Center to buy souvenirs. It's the height of summer in South America now, although it's also summer in Antarctica, the temperature there feels around zero to 5 degrees Celsius. This trip can be said to have experienced all four seasons. I bought a Messi No. 10 jersey, which is the most representative souvenir of Argentina.

La Boca

#tripaway Blue collar and raffish to the core, La Boca is very much a locals’ neighborhood. Its colorful shanties are often portrayed as a symbol of Buenos Aires, while El Caminito is the barrio’s most famous street, full of art vendors. La Boca is a neighborhood, or barrio of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. It retains a strong Italian flavour, with many of its early settlers being from the city of Genoa. In this neighborhood lives the most popular freestyler of Argentina named Trueno but his real name is Mateo Palacios Corazzina. #buenosaires #argentina #southamerica #tripaway

Puerto Madero

#tripaway Puerto madero is an amazing modern district within Buenos Aires! Puerto Madero, also known within the urban planning community as the Puerto Madero Waterfront, is a barrio of the Argentine capital at Buenos Aires CBD, occupying a significant portion of the Río de la Plata riverbank and representing the latest architectural trends in the city of Buenos Aires. Absolutely recommended to visit when in Argentina! #buenosaires #argentina #southamerica #tripaway
