Samgwangsa Lantern Festival in Busan

The Samgwangsa Lantern Festival can be reached by getting off at the 63 bus stop 🚍 and walking uphill. The slope is manageable if you take your time. Instead of climbing the steep stairs directly in front of the entrance, it’s recommended to follow the road on the right and take the longer but easier route. The temple is adorned with hundreds of thousands of lanterns that can be seen even from afar, creating a stunning view. I visited two years ago, and it was truly impressive. The lanterns decorating Samgwangsa 🏮 seem to be similar every year. While it might not be necessary to visit multiple times, the beauty of the lanterns is undeniable and worth seeing again.
