[Busan] A must-visit colorful town: Gamcheon Culture Village

Gamcheon Culture Village, which spreads across the hills of Busan, is a photogenic spot with a cluster of colorful houses. This was my first visit with my 4-year-old and 7-year-old children. There was a stamp rally and art experience, and the children enjoyed exploring the colorful town with a map in hand. On the way, I discovered a nostalgic cafe called POST CAFE. The walls of the store were covered with postcards drawn by people from all over the world. The gelato was delicious while looking at the spectacular view from the window, and it was a perfect spot for a break. ▫️A little bit of history In the 1950s, refugees from the Korean War gathered in this area and built houses on a steep slope to form the village. Since 2009, an art project has transformed the entire town into a work of art, and its beauty has earned it the nickname "Korea's Machu Picchu." Gamcheon Culture Village is a charming town where art and history come together. The colorful streets are very cute and perfect for making memories with the family.
