Ancient Feels at Muryangsa Temple

#summervacay Dropped by Muryangsa Temple in South Chungcheong-do, and wow, what a peaceful little spot tucked away in the mountains. It’s not super touristy, which made it even better, quiet, calm, and surrounded by trees that made the whole place feel like a zen bubble. The temple buildings are seriously beautiful, with those classic curved rooftops and faded paint that just scream history. There’s this really cool old pagoda right in the middle, and the views around the temple grounds were giving total peaceful forest retreat. I wandered around the paths, snapped a ton of pics, and even just sat on a bench listening to birds for a while. Super chill. Met a monk who smiled and nodded, no pressure, just vibes. Definitely not a flashy spot, but if you’re into quiet places with a bit of old soul and fresh mountain air, Muryangsa is worth the detour. Felt like I pressed pause on life for a minute.
