Hikers and motorcyclists will delight in the opportunity to visit 300-year-old trees. There were more than three waterfalls that I counted. The 300+ year old Balacat tree and the nearly as old balete tree are two of my favorites. The fact that the family who manages the business is one of the sweetest and kindest people I've ever encountered is a huge advantage. If you're already in Cagayan de Oro City, you can rent a van and tell the driver to take you to Mapawa Nature Park in Barangay Cugman. You can alternatively take a jeepney to the Mapawa Crossing and take a habal-habal from there (P35,- one way) and arrange for a later pick-up with the driver. It's essential to call a few days ahead of time so that the facilitators can prepare and tell you whether the location is suitable for canyoneering, whether the weather is favorable, or whether it's already fully booked.#skiadventure #staycation #themepark #beachlife
