[Egypt Tourism★] Egyptian Museum

It is less than 30 minutes by car from Cairo International Airport. I visited in May 2024. It faces a large road with a lot of traffic, and the entrance is well-secured. You buy a ticket and enter the building, but if you have large luggage, you can go around to the left side of the building to find a place to store your luggage. It was a simple storage facility with only one staff member in a small hut, so I was a little worried about security, but the staff was friendly. The fee seems to be up to you. The Grand Egyptian Museum has been built near Giza, and the exhibits are being moved there, so it was quiet inside, but there were many tourists. And Tutankhamun's mask is still here and you can see it. You can't take photos, but you can take a picture of the chair Tutankhamun sat on, which is all gold and luxurious. The entrance fee to the Great Museum is very high, so I recommend going while it's still in the Archaeological Museum.
