#summervacay I've perfectly captured the enchanting essence of a sunny day in Cambridge – it truly feels like it has its own filter, making me reluctant to blink! My Perfect Day in Cambridge: My day trip from London to Cambridge started beautifully. I had lunch at Darwin College before heading out for the quintessential Cambridge experience: punting! Punting on the Cam: An Absolute Must! Punting on the River Cam is an essential activity, and it lasts about an hour. This time, we opted to rent our own boat, which I highly recommend. Lying back on the boat, gazing at the various colleges and watching the sunlight dance on the Cam's gentle ripples was incredibly therapeutic. I even found photos of us looking leisurely from a stranger's perspective when I got back – so fun! Exploring the Colleges: St. John's is a Gem! We explored King's College, Trinity College, and St. John's College. Our absolute favorite was St. John's College. Its architecture and scenery were, by far, the most beautiful in our unanimous opinion. We were captivated by a wall covered in vibrant red ivy (pictured in your photo 2) as we glided by on the boat, and we even spotted many little squirrels scampering about! A Note on the Weather: If you can, definitely try to visit on a bright, sunny day. Without the sunshine, the city's colors tend to appear much duller, and you'd miss out on that magical glow. #cambridge #cambridgetravel
