A Few Hours to Broaden Your Mind

I found this place by accident. I didn't expect that the Planetarium would be joined with the museum, but it made for a great little afternoon to go through the museum while I waited for the Planetarium show to run. A show ticket gets you free entrance to the museum. Great deal! There are modern parts to the museum as the older parts still there. I liked that it had a large variety of things to see and yet, not overwhelm you with information about each thing. For those who get bored easily in museums, try this challenge (even kids!): Pick one subject that you see that may interest you and rest everything there about it. The rest, casually browse. This way you walk out of there learning something new with some depth. I liked how at the end of the show, there was a short lesson in identifying planets and stars using the night sky for that evening! #museum #astronomy #natural
