Cardiff, located on the southeast coast of Wales, at the estuary of the River Taff, is the capital of Wales and the ninth largest city in the United Kingdom. Cardiff is a vibrant seaside city with a rich cultural heritage and modern facilities. ‌ 1️⃣Cardiff Central Market It is recommended to buy the local Welsh Cakes, the store name is cardiff bakestones! I often buy the low sugar ones, but I also recommend buying the normal sugar ones. The ones with jam are very sweet, so be careful! The basic version costs 4.5 pounds for 10 pieces and 50p per piece, and it costs more than 4 pounds to pay by credit card. p.s. There are a lot of discounts on fruits at the entrance, buy some to eat on the way! 2️⃣Animal Wall The Animal Wall is a Gothic Revival-style wall designed by architect William Burgess, with 15 lifelike animal statues carved on the wall. 3️⃣Cardiff Castle Cardiff Castle has a history of more than 2,000 years, from a Roman fortress to a Norman castle to a 19th-century Gothic Revival building. Tickets are 15.5 pounds, students 12.5 pounds 4️⃣ Bute Park Close to Cardiff Castle, but nothing special. You can take a boat tour on the Taff River and pedal to Cardiff Bay.
