French Cassis * Calanques Boat Tour

While looking for tours or places to visit in the Cassis area, I decided to take a Calanques boat tour because the sea is so beautiful. Calanque means 'a small bay surrounded by rocks in the Mediterranean', and there are quite a few calanques in Cassis. They say the sea color is prettier in the morning, so I definitely recommend taking a boat tour in the morning. The sea water is really blue and clear like turquoise, so it stands out between the cliffs made of strange rocks. The basic course is to take a boat to the 3 calanques and return, and it costs 16 euros per person and takes about 45 minutes. Since you are riding a small boat that can accommodate 8 people or less, you can feel the speed and it is a great tour to take pictures or videos.
