Revitalized as a museum

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Castellón (Region) The museum’s origins date back to the 19th century, although its current home is a building constructed in 2001 by Tuñón and Mansilla, taking advantage of the old school’s landscaped cloisters and winning several national architecture awards. The content is arranged by topic. The Archaeology and Ethnology section contains works from prehistory to the Middle Ages, mostly from the province of Castellón. The ceramics section is the most important part of the museum, with more than a thousand pieces, mainly from the Onda, Ribesab and Alcora factories, as well as other factories such as Manises and Teruel.
