❤️Reasons for recommendation: The hotel environment is especially great, worth it! If I have the chance to visit Changchun again, I will definitely choose Nanhu Hotel again! ✔️Rooms During our stay, because it was the Chinese New Year, only the main building was open, with an area of 28 square meters. Although the room was not large, the ceiling was quite high, so the overall space did not feel cramped. The hotel amenities were all in small bottles, clean and hygienic, and there was also a power card, so taking the room card out did not affect the electricity inside. It is said that the decoration in Building 7 is somewhat newer, and there is a coffee shop under Building 7, so overall it might be newer than the main building. The king bed rooms are generally more expensive than the twin rooms, probably because the windows in the king bed rooms face outside, while those in the twin rooms face inside, limiting the view and scenery. ✔️Dining During this stay, I experienced both the a la carte dinner and the buffet breakfast. Overall, it was acceptable, with dinner being relatively tastier than breakfast. The hazel mushroom with Chinese cabbage is worth ordering; it was cooked just right, and the portion size was also very generous. Breakfast was relatively ordinary; the egg tarts were a bit cold, suggesting that desserts are not their strong suit. The noodles cooked on the spot were quite tasty, but in the north, there seems to be no toppings provided, so the noodles really only included noodles. Therefore, if adding breakfast costs a significant amount of money, you might choose to exclude it. ✔️Service The service staff were all super enthusiastic! The lobby also had self-service ginseng and jujube tea, which was always served hot and delicious. There was also a small car to take us to the main entrance. Upon check-in, we were given snacks from Jilin Province as gifts (some of which were super tasty, I even bought some later on Taobao) as well as practical gift packs like masks and hand warmers. In the evening, desserts were provided (unfortunately, we returned too late that day, and the black fungus soup they sent was completely cold), fruits were delivered daily, and a small bag of snacks was given upon checkout, which was super generous! Fun ✔️Recreation The hotel has raised more than 20 sika deer, and there are 2 small sika deer in a log cabin, which are super cute! You can interact with the small sika deer. As for the free-range sika deer, you have to find them yourself. There are footprints in the snow, but they are very well hidden, and we didn't find them this time. Several spots in the hotel were filming locations for 'Ren Shijian', and there is a wonderful birch forest, casually all making for great photos!
