Changsha weekend trip | Relax in Changde, Hunan 🚄Changsha➡️Changde Transportation: High-speed rail (about 1 hour, ticket price starts from RMB 88); train (about 2 hours, ticket price starts from RMB 29.5); self-driving about 2.5 hours. 🗺🗺 Tour arrangements: Laoximen (lunch) ➡️Liuye Lake ➡️Daxiaohe Street (dinner) ➡️German Style Street ➡️Take the high-speed rail back to Changsha 📍Changde Old West Gate✅ This is a cultural and tourism district based on Changde’s history, where you can experience the architectural features and culture. It is suitable for taking photos, and there is also the Red Brick House Yuanbozicai Museum (now commercialized and open to visitors). If you don't eat, you can walk the entire block in half an hour. 📍Changde Liuye Lake✅ Hunan's "Little Erhai Lake" is well-deserved of its reputation. Liuye Lake is so beautiful under the warm autumn sun! The area is very large, with more than 30 kilometers around the lake. There is not much traffic, so it is really suitable for cycling and camping! You can visit Sima Tower, Huxian Island, and the Eye of Changde; visit Kale Planet and Beach Park to enjoy the sunset🌅...! Bicycles and electric sightseeing cars are available for rental. 📍Daxiaohe Street✅ The ancient street block by the river is not long and has a high degree of commercialization. There is a section of city wall on the west side of Daxiaohe Street, from which you can overlook the neighborhood🌃, and you can also see the German-style street across the road. There are pigeons in the lower section of the city wall, and you can check in at Changde Wall. 📍German Style Street: A European-style town modeled after the German city of Hanover. This is a place I still don’t recommend when I come to Changde for the second time. The street is still as sparsely populated as it was 5 years ago, and the business types are not full. Only the building space is not popular.
