According to legend, Su Dongpo, a great writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, came to Changzhou 11 times and lived here until his death. I once took a boat here and stopped here. This is the place where Su Dongpo abandoned the boat and went ashore to enter the city. In the Southern Song Dynasty, some people built a mooring pavilion to commemorate Su Dongpo, who died in Changzhou. The Mooring Pavilion is located on the top of the south mountain in the park. The pavilion is not large but has an exquisite shape. When Emperor Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River, he gave poems to the pavilion four times and personally inscribed the plaque "Yuju Fengliu". Walking around the winding corridors in the park, you will suddenly see a bright and beautiful view of lush trees, clear water and rocks, presenting the style of classical Chinese gardens. The Grand Canal flows eastward around the park, giving it a more Jiangnan-style scenery. When I walked over, I saw railings on the Guangji Bridge, which said it was temporarily closed due to the typhoon. I felt a little disappointed. It was a pity that I couldn't enter this part after coming here with great difficulty. But I just walked a few steps forward and looked back, and found that there was a small opening in the railing. I was so lucky. I quickly walked across the bridge and saw Yangsu Pavilion, Suzi Wall, etc. When we arrived at Dongpo Academy, the girl on duty wouldn't let us in, saying that it hadn't officially opened yet due to the typhoon. I thought to myself that what you said made sense, but I had come so far and I really wanted to go in and take a look. After I walked around and came to the gate of Dongpo Academy again, I didn't see any manager. I just went in. There were a lot of Su Shi's handwriting inside. I was definitely taking pictures non-stop. When I was almost done, the woman suddenly looked up from behind a desk and said that I couldn't take pictures. It turned out that she had been there all the time. I had almost finished taking pictures, so I decided to leave. She even remembered to say sorry to me, and I said it was okay. I asked if it was an authentic work. She asked this on purpose, as if it was an authentic work that would be amazing. She said it was a replica. Then I came out. Then we continued to visit the Dragon Pavilion, Imperial Stele Pavilion, Inkstone Washing Pool, Boat Pavilion, etc. on the other side of the bridge. Dongpo Garden is really beautiful. I visited them all and had no regrets.
