Jintan: A land of outstanding people and resources

I returned to my hometown of Jintan, Changzhou during the Labor Day holiday. Jintan has a long history, with ancestors inhabiting and living there as early as the Stone Age. In the fourth year of the Chuigong reign of the Wu Zhou Dynasty (688 AD), it was changed to Jintan County. In November 1993, with the approval of the State Council, Jintan City (county level) was established. In April 2015, with the approval of the State Council, the county-level Jintan City was abolished and Jintan District, Changzhou City was established. Jintan has scenic spots such as Oriental Salt Lake City, China Flower Valley, and Maoshan Forest World. To the west of Jintan District is Yuchi Park. The park is very large and the scenery is beautiful. Even during the Labor Day holiday, there are very few people, making it very suitable for recreation. It feels great. Next to the park is also the memorial hall of the great mathematician Hua Luogeng, as well as the Jintan Museum, which are worth a visit.
