Review of Youke Hotel in Chaozhou: Living in the Poetry of the Ancient City, Tasting the Flavors of Chaoshan This hotel was originally part of the Chun Garden, the former residence of Jao Tsung-I. With its traditional Chaozhou "four-point gold" courtyard with skywell, from the pavilions to the tiles, there are countless charming details that reveal the designers' reverence for "restoring cultural relics." The courtyard features a nearly 300-year-old Sterculia tree, casting dancing shadows through carved windows. This space made me dream of sharing moonlight with the great scholar. Every step reveals a new view, making it impossible to stop taking photos! The room details are equally thoughtful, with wooden furniture and tea sets. At night, steeping a cup of Phoenix Dancong tea while listening to faint Chaozhou opera sounds instantly transports you back in time!
