The sunset at Fuxian Lake is worth it!

[Fuxian Lake] I visited Fuxian Lake in 2020. The prices of homestays around the lake during holidays were outrageous. I booked a homestay with a lake view. I arrived at 3 pm, and they told me I had to wait. By 5 pm, the room still hadn't been cleaned. I was so frustrated. I had no choice but to switch to a chain hotel in the city. Finally, things calmed down. So now, I'm a bit wary of homestays unless I really love them. I won't consider them otherwise. Or, if there's a star-rated hotel with similar conditions, I definitely won't choose a homestay. They're too unreliable. The scenery of the lake is still quite beautiful. Taking a self-drive trip around the lake at sunset, enjoying the scenery while chasing the sunset, is a lot of fun.
