Chungcheong Province Autumn Travel Destination: Cheongju Midongsan Arboretum in Real Time

Midongsan Arboretum, named after the mountain located to the east of Miwon-myeon, is home to 51 general and special gardens, including a rose garden, preserving and managing a total of 1,593 species and 310,000 plants. It operates free of charge, not only for residents of North Chungcheong Province but also for visitors from other regions, attracting numerous tourists annually. I visited to savor the last moments of autumn, but to my surprise...! The strong winds had blown off all the leaves 🥹 Still, holding onto hope, I ventured further inside, and as I approached the observatory, the autumn scenery of Midongsan Arboretum that I had been anticipating began to unfold. After passing the observatory and climbing a bit further, I found a fantastic photo spot while crossing a bridge, making it a satisfying outing 🤎 At first, I thought it was a mistake to come due to the barren appearance, but I ended up feeling it was absolutely worth the visit ☺️ The front area has already lost its leaves, so don't expect much there, but the back area is still beautiful.
