Alishan Sunrise Viewing

Alishan is well known for its sunrise. In addition to taking the operator's shuttle bus to Zhushan, the most popular route to watch the sunrise is to take the Alishan train, which is fun. At 4:30 in the morning, walk to Alishan Railway Station and take the Zhushan Line to Duigaoyue Station and then walk up Zhushan. There are sea of clouds and morning light along the way for about 20 minutes, which feels really comfortable. If you are hungry, you can enjoy hot soup, oden, soy milk and other breakfasts on the mountain.
