Alishan Township's Mihu Trail

Alishan Township's Mihu Trail meanders through bamboo forests, with signposts along the way, passing wooden walkways and bridges. During certain seasons, you can even see fireflies. Originally called Miyangxi Trail, it stretches about 2.3 kilometers, winding along the Miyang Stream. The cheerful Tsou villagers named it 'Mihu Trail' by combining the sounds of 'Mi' and 'Hu' (bottom). The trail features several pavilions where you can sit and listen to the babbling stream during the rainy season, which is very refreshing.
