Alishan National Forest Recreation Area Giant Tree Trail

The Giant Tree Trail is divided into two paths, starting right in front of the Alishan Hotel. The Giant Tree Trail (1) goes to the left along the wooden path, mostly downhill, with a total of 20 giant trees. The Giant Tree Trail (2) goes to the right midway, with a total of 16 giant trees. The Giant Tree Trail (1) passes by Ciyun Temple and Xianglin Sacred Tree, while the Giant Tree Trail (2) passes by the Xuantian Shangdi Temple, which is quite magnificent. Both routes lead to the end at Shenmu Station, where you can take a train down to the Visitor Center. Address: Alishan Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan
