#AprilGoodDestinations2025 Fenchihu Station is located in Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County. Fenchihu Station was originally a Japanese-style wooden building. It was later demolished and a new station was rebuilt on the original site, which is the Fenchihu Station we see today. Fenchihu Station is 1,403 meters above sea level. It is the largest midpoint station on the Alishan Forest Mountain Railway and the only large station with double platforms. Next to the station you can see some old locomotives and carriages with a lot of history. Tourists like to take photos with these locomotives and carriages, and some passengers also like to walk on the rails and sway their bodies from side to side. After you exit Fenchihu Station and turn right, you will enter Fenchihu Old Street. The passages in the old street are narrow and crowded with tourists.
