Magnificent Mile is the long stretch of street from Oak Road and runs along Michigan Avenue. Known for its upscale boutiques, restaurants, hotels and office buildings, Mag Mile as its also known, is a showcase of style, flavor, entertainment,culture and the arts. The full 13-block stretch of square mile of Michigan Avenue to the south river. This is best explored by foot on a good autumn day, or early winter when the snow is just starting to fall. You may also take chartered bus tours which will take you to some of the most popular stops such as Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, Bloomingdale, the historic Chicago Water Tower, Navy Pier among others.
