Ryuzoji Temple, located in a residential area of ​​Chita, is said to have begun its history in 1617 when a nobleman from Kyoto who had deep devout faith in Jizo Bodhisattva moved there. Opposite the temple's donation office is the city's preserved tree, the Ogatamanoki (a tree that summons spirits).
