The fog is very thick, and coupled with a little snow, the white romantic feeling is strong. Most of the shops around Lake Shikotsu are small. They don’t sell much, mostly fruits and vegetables. I especially recommend corn. It doesn’t need any seasoning, just eat it directly, it’s super sweet! Simple potato pancakes, dense and delicious, a little home cooking, can bring you warmth in the snow. Some brave men will even challenge ice cream! I think those who come to eat ice cream on a snowy day are really brave! If it's not winter, you can go boating here. It feels very comfortable. But the weather was -4 degrees Celsius that day, so the boat was not open at all. It turns out that you can get different experiences in each season. The lady boss was very hospitable. She invited us in even though it was snowing. She also said it was okay if we didn't order any food. We could just hide from the snow. It was really heartwarming.
