Spectacular views of Lake Shikotsu and Mount Tarumae! Mount Fuppushi

Mt. Eniwa, which I posted about earlier, is a place where only a select few can reach the summit (as it requires high mountaineering skills), but Mt. Fuppushi is not that high at 1,102m above sea level, and the hiking trail is well-maintained, making it a somewhat easy mountain to climb even in winter. (Although winter mountains are still for advanced climbers...) On the other hand, there are magnificent views of Lake Shikotsu to the north and Mt. Tarumae to the south. The photos in this post were taken in winter, but of course you can see the same views in summer, so I also recommend those. #breathtakingviews #mountainclimbing #snowscenery
