Charming Chongqing

Chongqing Municipality is a mega city located near Sichuan province. There is an international airport and train station that connects Chongqing to other cities in China as well as a boat connection to nearby Chengdu. Chongqing is very hilly by nature and has several quirky attractions such as the metro that goes into the side of the building and an old village. The food in Chongqing is very spicy and hotpot is a very popular dish (including brain). lots of the main restaurants and bars are located along the river which comes alive at night when the lights are turned on #mountainview #urbanexplorer #chongqing #hotpot

#磁器口 #ciqikou This is a night view of Ciqikou. The shops usually start to close at around 8.30 pm onwards, hence no more crowds at this time. This is the best time for night scenery photos because the lighthings are still on. If you go after 9pm, most shops are already closed and the lights are off. How you can get there is by MRT Red line to reach here. The station is exactly on the same place, walking distance is around 5 mins to this place entrance. No entrance ticket is required. Full of hotpot restaurants and recommend to have it here. This is a must visit place. The crazy crowds will usually start from 10 am-ish, so if you want a better photo, suggest reach there before 9.15 am, but some shops may not open yet. We stayed at Lianci Hotel abd the stay is pleasant.
