Soaking in the hot springs by the ancient trees and streams, I stumbled into the world of The Wizard of Oz

The ancient trees reached to the sky, with wisps of cooking smoke rising, along the leisurely bluestone path, green plants grew on the gray tiles, mist hovered over the stream, and occasionally a couple of passersby would walk by, so tranquil and pleasant, I felt as if I had entered the world of The Wizard of Oz. The weather has been quite cool these days, and I made plans with a friend to stay in this lesser-known ancient village for two days. We enjoyed the hot springs and afternoon tea, got lost in the sounds of nature with birds chirping and cicadas singing, and when we had nothing else to do, we would stroll down the old street, take some photos, and eat some Chongqing specialty snacks. About the accommodation Jingangbei Old Village Hot Spring Hotel, we stayed in Xiangyangyuan, which is very convenient as it's closest to the main entrance. The stay comes with two days of hot spring tickets, and you can experience any of the hot springs in the ancient village at will.
