Let me first talk about my experience of taking my kids to InterContinental Qiandao Lake last year, which can be used as a reference for those of you who are planning to go there. 🗓Itinerary: Depart from Nanjing on Saturday at noon, the whole journey is about 290 kilometers and takes 3 and a half hours. InterContinental owns the entire Xianshan Peninsula. The car has to go through a long bend to reach the hotel, which shows the privacy of the hotel. The package I booked is 1,299 for three days and two nights, and I will return on Monday morning. 🍽Dining recommendations: As I mentioned earlier, there is a long curve to drive into the hotel, so it is not very convenient to go out for food. There are not many places to eat around the hotel, which is a small disadvantage. So we had our main meals at the hotel. The hotel's breakfast buffet is also very rich and complete in variety. Day 2: In the morning, we visited Moon Gate📸, and then took the hotel’s train. Of course, this requires payment. Qiandao Lake InterContinental covers a large area, so a day is enough to play around the hotel. You can go to the lake to enjoy the breeze and walk to the lighthouse, which is an easy place to take pictures! The hotel has various activities arranged every day. You can ask the front desk in advance. In the afternoon, the children participated in the hotel's painting and sketching activities, which was very fun 😃 If you are an adult or a big child, you can go hiking or yachting, etc., and you can sign up at the hotel. 🛏Room facilities: The mountain view room we stayed in🛏️, the room size is good, the bathroom and bed are directly separated by a long sliding door, the balcony is equipped with two chairs, get up early and breathe fresh air on the balcony, oxygen volume is up! 🌸In general, three days and two nights is a good plan, which is suitable for weekend trips to surrounding cities or short family trips.
