In this lifetime, I must come to Cologne. The Cologne Cathedral has shocked me since the first time I saw it.

Cologne is located on the western edge of the country and is one of the best cities and locations to explore in Germany. Cologne is full of vitality and personality. Climbing to the top of Cologne Cathedral (picture 3) and climbing more than 500 steps may be a rather steep climb, but it is well worth it to reach the height of one of Cologne's most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the ancient and quaint churches in this city (picture 4). Cologne has a lot of beautiful churches, so be sure to take the time to visit St. Martin's Church - its architecture is really beautiful. To appreciate the beautiful scenery of the city, please walk across the Rhine River. This is a great place to stroll in Cologne, especially at sunset. Cologne's history dates back to the Roman era, which can only mean that there is a range of different architectural styles and history to explore here. Visit Rheinauhafen, the youngest district in Cologne. This once bustling port area has now transformed into a creative hub and some very cool buildings, making it one of the best activities in Cologne when the sun begins to set. Watch the sunset at 103 meters above Cologne. One of the best observation decks in this city comes from the brand new Cologne Triangle area. For a small entrance fee, you can take the elevator to the 103-meter-high peak.
