Stunning Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba

This is a truly stunning building and to me, definitely worth a visit if you are in or near Cordoba. Known as the Mezquita-Catedral, this huge building is a grand structure and rich in history and complex, varied architecture styles, and one of the oldest structures still standing from the time Muslims ruled this region. Feel small and a sense of wonder as you walk through the halls with many awe inspiring columns or through the large gothic style cathedral side of this place. It’s definitely unique, and also great for a picture or two (or more) as souvenirs of your trip. Note that flash and tripods are not allowed though (we just leaned my phone on a bench for this shot!). I think entry cost us around 11 euros. #holiday #spain #spaintravel #tripblazers
