#2024TravelReview This time, I will share a recommended accommodation option in Daegu! The area we selected for accommodation this time was mainly around Dongdaegu Station and Daegu Station, with convenient transportation being the primary consideration. The final choice was "UH FLAT", a high-end hotel brand operating in many locations in South Korea. I first saw its photos on the booking website. The overall decoration was as exquisite and elegant as a high-end luxury house. Although we didn’t have high expectations at first, thinking that “the pictures might just be taken pretty”, after taking a closer look at the online reviews, we found that almost all of them were positive, which made us feel more at ease. This property is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from Dongdaegu Station. Right next to it is the well-known Marriott Hotel. The fact that the two basically share the same building also brings extra convenience - Marriott's facilities (such as the gym and swimming pool) can be used for an additional fee, which is a big plus! After entering the room, I was first surprised by its complete facilities. In addition, it is thoughtfully equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven and simple kitchen, which is very suitable for long-term travelers and even as convenient as home. Although the actual size of the room is slightly smaller than in the photo, we are still very satisfied with the overall design and functionality. This time we booked Room Type E, which has a master bedroom (with bathroom) and two smaller rooms. One of them is located behind a glass door next to the living room and has a very special design. This kind of space configuration may depend on whether everyone can accept it, but since we are all girls, we don’t mind it. The hotel is surrounded by a wide range of amenities, including restaurants and convenience stores. You can find everything you need within a few minutes' walk. Especially since there is Baek Jong-won’s coffee shop across the street, having a cup of coffee every morning to wake up has become one of our daily rituals. The overall accommodation experience was very pleasant. Although the sudden power outage in the early morning of the first night gave everyone a little shock, it quickly returned to normal and did not affect our mood. Apart from this little episode, the overall performance can be said to be great value for money. If you are looking for an accommodation that combines comfort, convenience and modernity, UH FLAT is definitely worth a try! ✴️ E-1.
