A Day at Dali Yiyun Hotel

Before leaving Dali last month, I went to Yiyun Hotel in Dali to have a bowl of crossing-the-bridge noodles, which cost 108 yuan, and visited the hotel's suite room type. Review of the food: The staff added the ingredients too quickly, so I only managed to capture one photo. First of all, since it costs 108 yuan, the ingredients and quality are definitely sufficient. Besides the noodles, they also provided local specialty cold dishes, cured meat, and some desserts, along with Pu'er tea. Overall, it was worth the price. Although the noodles are refillable, the soup loses its flavor after two rounds, but two rounds are usually enough to feel full. Review of the guest room: The hotel has several courtyard gardens, and the suite room type is a room in one of the courtyards on the far side of the garden. The living room has everything you need, the bedroom is also very nice, and although the bathroom area has a single sink, the materials and bathtub are quite exquisite. Overall, the room is definitely of five-star hotel quality. The outdoor garden is also very beautiful, and the design of the outdoor hot tub is very innovative. However, if you don't need the hot tub, I personally think the two-bedroom sea view suite is more suitable, with great value for money. Review of the public area: The hotel's guest room area and public area are well separated, making it a standard resort hotel. The public area includes a lobby bar, banquet hall, tea room, and buffet restaurant. The facilities are very complete. The spa next door looks quite professional, but there is no gym or swimming pool. Additionally, due to the renovation of the second phase of the project, the view from the public area may be somewhat obstructed. Each courtyard in the guest room area has its own scenery, and the garden views are beautifully done. Overall, this is a pretty good resort hotel next to Cangshan, but there is still some distance in quality compared to brand chains. However, I hope it continues to improve!
