Bai women wearing headscarves carried bamboo baskets to collect snails. Riding to the S-bend in Panxi, I tossed the scooter onto the grass and lay on the boardwalk, listening to the sound of waves lapping against the wooden piles. 🌟 The rainbow road in Wenbi Village is only 200 meters long, but every corner holds a surprise: a deserted studio halfway up the mountain covered in bougainvillea, and a cafe converted from an old Bai house serving pour-over coffee in enamel mugs. I stayed here for a night. 🌟 What touched me most were the "unconventional" locals: the older sister making tie-dye in Xizhou Ancient Town, the uncle running a guesthouse in Shuanglang, and the grandmother selling Rushan cheese at the Cai Village market in the evening.
