Regarding the Dali cycling tour around Erhai Lake, I really... had so much fun that I didn’t want to stop!

I successfully completed the 130km trip around Erhai Lake alone🎉 When I think back on this experience now, I am still filled with excitement! High altitude, scorching sun during the day, strong winds at night, these factors that sound daunting, but after you actually embark on the cycling journey, they all become unique scenery and precious memories. Thanks to my persistence along the way, I have this journey that belongs entirely to me. That kind of flow experience has been lingering in my mind for the past ten days. Whenever I think about it, it seems as if I am at the Erhai Lake again🚴‍♀️ Let’s go, believe me, Erhai Lake is really worth it! Below is my guide and real experience for you guys👇 📌 Route Planning I rode around Erhai Lake clockwise, so I could face the sun most of the time and enjoy the beautiful lake view🌊 First stop: Dali Ancient Town - Xizhou Ancient Town. The road condition on this section is relatively good. Along the way, you can see large fields and quaint Bai villages, which are full of pastoral atmosphere. You must visit Sifang Street in Xizhou Ancient Town and try the local specialty Broken Crispy Baba, which tastes amazing👍 Second stop: Xizhou Ancient Town - Shuanglang. This section of the journey will pass by many popular check-in spots, such as the lonely tree, Wenbi Village, etc. You can take pictures while riding and leave beautiful moments. Shuanglang is a very suitable place to rest. Find a seaside coffee shop, sit down, blow the sea breeze, and look at Erhai Lake.
