Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is the head shrine of all Tenmangu shrines in Japan, and is known as the one and only sacred place, Kanseibyo, as the tomb of Michizane. As it will be 1,125 years since Michizane passed away in 2027, the important cultural property "Main Hall" is undergoing major renovation for the first time in 124 years! The temporary hall with plum trees growing on the roof can only be seen for three years until the renovation is completed. It was so beautiful and gave me energy!
